Update or delete a direct connection
Overview
- Update the credentials for your automated direct connection.
- Delete a direct account connection you no longer want documents to import from.
Edit the credentials for a direct connection
If the username or password for one of your connected accounts has changed, you need to update the credentials in Hubdoc.
- On the Hubdoc dashboard, click the settings icon in the top right hand corner.
- For the account you need to update, click Edit credentials.
- Enter your updated login details, then click Update Account.
Delete a direct account connection
If you no longer want documents to automatically import for a particular supplier, delete the account connection.
- On the Hubdoc dashboard, click the settings icon in the top right hand corner.
- On the Automated Accounts tab, next to the account you want to disconnect, click Delete account.
- Click OK to confirm, then click Close.
- (Optional) Delete the old folder and all the documents in it.
What's next?
If you've updated a direct connection, publish the documents that import to create account transactions in QuickBooks Online or Xero (Xero Central website).
