Delete a document


  • Delete individual documents from Hubdoc or delete a whole folder.
  • Restore documents from the trash folder, or delete them permanently.

Delete a single document

  1. Find and open the document.
  2. Click Delete.
  3. Click OK to confirm.

Delete a folder of documents

Deleting a folder moves all documents in the folder to Trash, and removes the folder from the menu. 

  1. Under FOLDERS, select the folder you want to delete.
  2. Click the arrow next to the folder, then select Delete Folder.
  3. Click OK to confirm.

Restore a deleted document

  1. Under FOLDERS, select Trash.
  2. Drag and drop the document to the relevant folder.

Empty the trash folder

Once a document has been emptied from the trash folder, it can’t be restored.

  1. Under FOLDERS, select Trash.
  2. Click the down arrow, then select Empty Trash.
