Document Audit Trail gives you visibility into when, who, and how a document was uploaded to Hubdoc and/or published to a third-party integration (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, Cloud Storage).
- When – Date and time a document was uploaded to Hubdoc and/or published to a third-party integration, in your local time zone.
- Who – Name or email address of the person that uploaded a document to Hubdoc and/or published to a third-party integration. If a document is uploaded via a unique intake email (@app.hubdoc.com), the Document Audit Trail information will show you the email address of the sender, even if they do not have a Hubdoc account.
- How – Tool used to upload a document to Hubdoc (auto-fetch, mobile application, email, web application, or Fujitsu ScanSnap).
Note: Hubdoc’s Document Audit Trail will not impact audit trails in third-party integrations like QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Bill.com.

Document Audit Trail information is available on a going-forward basis, beginning on July 5th, 2018. Only documents uploaded or published after this date will have audit trail information.
