Connect Hubdoc to BILL
Overview
- Connect with BILL so you can publish documents from Hubdoc.
- Choose to save original source documents directly to BILL or your cloud accounting platform.

Connect BILL
- Sign in to BILL using your email address and BILL password. If you don’t have a BILL account, click Sign Up and follow BILL’s instructions.
- Under All companies, select the company you want to connect to Hubdoc.
- Click the settings icon, then select App Center.
- From the apps menu, select Hubdoc, then click Connect.
- Select the Hubdoc organisation you want to connect, then click Connect to confirm.
Your BILL account is now connected with your Hubdoc organisation.

Save your documents in BILL
Save original source documents directly in BILL, instead of your cloud accounting platform.
- Import all documents and receipts to Hubdoc.
- Publish bills from Hubdoc that need to be paid to BILL.
- Send all other documents and paid bills directly to your cloud accounting platform from Hubdoc.
- Pay your bills in BILL.
When the integration is set up between BILL and your cloud accounting platform, BILL automatically creates the transaction and updates the status of the bill in your cloud accounting platform. The bill’s original source document isn't published to your cloud accounting platform from BILL to avoid creating duplicates.
Save your documents in your cloud accounting platform
Save original source documents directly in your cloud accounting platform, instead of BILL.
- Import all documents and receipts to Hubdoc.
- Connect Hubdoc and BILL to your cloud accounting platform.
- Publish bills from Hubdoc to your cloud accounting platform, then use the BILL integration in your cloud accounting platform to create the bill in BILL.
- Pay your bills in BILL.
BILL automatically updates the status of the bill in your cloud accounting platform.
