Change your Hubdoc login details

Overview

  • Change the email address and password you use to log in to Hubdoc.
  • Reset your Hubdoc password if you’ve forgotten it or you're locked out of your account.

Warning | If you use single sign on (SSO) for Xero and Hubdoc, you need to change your Xero login details (Xero Central website). 

Change your own login email address

  1. Log in to Hubdoc.
  2. If you have access to:
    • One organisation, click the profile icon , then select Profile
    • More than one organisation, select the Profile tab
  3. Enter your new email address in the Email and Confirm email fields. 
  4. Click Save Changes or Update.

Change your client's login email address

If you've set up your client's Hubdoc organisation using a personal email address or an email alias, you need to change the organisation email to one your client can access.

To change the organisation email:

  1. Log in to Hubdoc with the email address you used to set up the organisation.
  2. Click the settings icon , then select the Organization tab.
  3. Enter the new email address in the Organization Email field, then click Save changes.

Change your login password

  1. Log in to Hubdoc.
  2. If you have access to:
    • One organisation, click the profile icon , then select Profile
    • More than one organisation, select the Profile tab, then select the Password & security tab
  3. Enter your current password and new password.
  4. Confirm your new password, then click Save Password or Update password.

Reset a forgotten password

  1. Go to the Hubdoc reset password page (Hubdoc website).
  2. Enter the email address you use for your Hubdoc organisation, then click Reset Password.
  3. In your email inbox, find the email from Hubdoc Support (noreply@hubdoc.com) to reset your password. If you're waiting on the email to reset your password, check your junk or spam folders.
  4. In the email, click Reset Password.
  5. Enter your new password, then click Set Password. The password must be a minimum of nine characters, including letters, numbers and at least one special character.
