Change your Hubdoc login details
Overview
- Change the email address and password you use to log in to Hubdoc.
- Reset your Hubdoc password if you’ve forgotten it or you're locked out of your account.
Warning | If you use single sign on (SSO) for Xero and Hubdoc, you need to change your Xero login details (Xero Central website).
Change your own login email address
- Log in to Hubdoc.
- If you have access to:
- One organisation, click the profile icon , then select Profile
- More than one organisation, select the Profile tab
- Enter your new email address in the Email and Confirm email fields.
- Click Save Changes or Update.
Change your client's login email address
If you've set up your client's Hubdoc organisation using a personal email address or an email alias, you need to change the organisation email to one your client can access.
To change the organisation email:
- Log in to Hubdoc with the email address you used to set up the organisation.
- Click the settings icon , then select the Organization tab.
- Enter the new email address in the Organization Email field, then click Save changes.
Change your login password
- Log in to Hubdoc.
- If you have access to:
- One organisation, click the profile icon , then select Profile
- More than one organisation, select the Profile tab, then select the Password & security tab
- Enter your current password and new password.
- Confirm your new password, then click Save Password or Update password.
Reset a forgotten password
- Go to the Hubdoc reset password page (Hubdoc website).
- Enter the email address you use for your Hubdoc organisation, then click Reset Password.
- In your email inbox, find the email from Hubdoc Support (noreply@hubdoc.com) to reset your password. If you're waiting on the email to reset your password, check your junk or spam folders.
- In the email, click Reset Password.
- Enter your new password, then click Set Password. The password must be a minimum of nine characters, including letters, numbers and at least one special character.
